The Hub

As one of the main festival venues ‘The Hub’ will host a variety of workshops, talks, screenings, visual art presentations, alongside DJ/VJ performances and late night music sessions.

The hub is designed to facilitate a vibrant, and accessible presentation and networking space that aides creative and cultural crossovers. Based in the Union street café-bar Five/Snafu in Aberdeen, the hub is open throughout the film festival from early afternoon.

With scheduled and open invitations to present film, music, art and discussion the audience will in part define the hub’s overall ethos. It is a space for eating, drinking, info gathering, talking, meeting and relaxing. There is also public access to video equipment, plug-in points, projectors and the in-house PA available to showcase impromptu and new creative talent.
