Welcome to the very first Aberdeen City and Shire Film Festival, a festival dedicated to a range of film related events, screenings & workshops, taking place across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. The film festival runs over nine days, from Fri 24th July to Sat 1st August 2009.
The film festival programme is comprised of an exciting mixture of screenings, Q&A sessions, talks, workshops, networking events, after-hours activities, and a Screen Machine (mobile cinema unit) tour of Aberdeenshire. The inaugural Aberdeen City and Shire Film Festival 2009 would not have been possible without the help and support of our funders; festival partners; filmmakers; volunteers; and of course all film festival visitors and participants.
